Blend It Forward

This July, the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii (BGCH) and Boys & Girls Club of Maui (BGCM) are the proud beneficiaries of Blend It Forward, a new community-driven initiative launched by Jamba Hawaii to support youth programs.

From July 1–31, 2025, Jamba Hawaii will donate $1 to the local Boys & Girls Club for every Mango-a-go-go and Watermelon Breeze smoothie sold at participating locations. All donations will directly benefit the Clubhouse in the communities on O‘ahu, Kaua‘i and Maui, where each purchase is made, ensuring that support stays close to home.

In addition to the $1-per-smoothie donation, Jamba Hawaii will match customer contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000 statewide.

“We are incredibly grateful for Jamba Hawaii and their shared commitment to supporting our youth,” said Paddy Kauhane, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii. “These funds will go directly toward helping more local kids have access to meals they can count on, caring mentors who believe in them and meaningful life experiences that allow them to discover their great futures.”

“We sincerely appreciate the support and wonderful opportunity to partner with Jamba Hawaii to ensure our young people have access to the hope and opportunity we provide at our clubhouses,” said Kelly Maluo-Pearson, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Maui. “We are excited to utilize this generous investment from Jamba Hawaii to enhance our quality programs in academic success, health lifestyles and leadership and character development.”

The campaign reflects a shared commitment to wellness, community and the future of Hawaiʻi’s youth.

“Energizing our local communities and supporting the organizations that lift up Hawai‘i’s keiki is the heart and soul of this campaign,” said Keliʻi Moreau, Director of Operations for Jamba Hawaii. “We’re proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii and the Boys & Girls Club of Maui to blend good vibes, great smoothies and a powerful impact across the state.”

Funds raised through the campaign will strengthen the Boys & Girls Clubs’ collective mission to inspire Hawaiʻi’s youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

To participate, visit a participating Jamba Hawaii location and purchase a Mango-a-go-go or Watermelon Breeze smoothie during the month of July.

About Boys & Girls Club of Maui:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Inc. (BGCM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2000, dedicated to empowering Maui’s youth, especially those most in need—to reach their full potential as caring, responsible citizens. With six clubhouses across the island and a mobile “Club on the Go,” BGCM offers safe, supportive environments for children and teens after school and during summer. A seventh clubhouse on Molokai is set to open soon.

BGCM addresses the complex challenges facing today’s youth by providing enriching programs, committed mentors, and structured opportunities for personal growth. Programs focus on four core impact areas: Academic Success, Social Emotional Health, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. Popular initiatives include Passport to Manhood, SMART Girls, Leaders in Training, and Hawaiian Club—all designed to foster critical life skills and community engagement.

Serving hundreds of young people annually, BGCM’s 40+ staff members bring over 150 years of collective youth development experience. The organization emphasizes social-emotional development and resilience, helping youth make positive choices and thrive in the face of adversity.

To ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement, BGCM participates in the annual National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI), in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This data-driven approach helps refine programs and sustain a high-quality, impactful experience for Maui’s keiki. Learn more on our website, and connect with us on FacebookX, and Instagram.
