Jamba Juice opens its first store in the Kukui Grove Shopping Center, Kauai

January 6, 2004 – Lihue, Kauai-Jamba Juice, Hawaii’s leader in all-natural, blended-to-order smoothies, fresh squeezed juices and nutritious breads, announced plans to open their first store on Kauai at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center. Jamba Kukui Grove is scheduled to open on January 7, 2004 and will be the 18th store in Hawaii.

Kyle Zakahi, a Kauai native, was appointed to General Manager of Jamba Kukui Grove. Zakahi began his career with Jamba Juice in 2000 as a Team Member, just after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Finance. After working as a Team Member at Jamba Juice Pearlridge he was promoted to Team Lead in January 2001 and then to Assistant Manager in November 2001. He was then promoted to General Manager of the Jamba Juice Airport Trade Center on Oahu before he was hand chosen to return home to bring the Jamba spirit to Kauai.
